The Next Generation of Adaptive Devices Are in Motion

In last few days, I’m noticing a few new devices that will allow us to interact with our current content creation and consumption tools. One of those is totally polished and leads the way for gesture-based interaction. The value appears to be more obvious with less refined tasks such as browsing through file folders or some entertainment tasks.

The other product is less polished and shows how a projector can adapt the thrown image to match the movement of the screen. While these are very different applications, they demonstrate the variety of innovation that is happening. It’s pretty exciting.

Leap represents an entirely new way to interact with your computers. It’s more accurate than a mouse, as reliable as a keyboard and more sensitive than a touchscreen. For the first time, you can control a computer in three dimensions with your natural hand and finger movements.
