The retail space is rip for re-invention. Overlay social and entertainment on top of any retail kind of experience and it can become more engaging and more frequented.

Here’s a set of ideas for Starbuck’s who makes coffee, but SELLS the experience of a refuge or haven. To better sell that underlying feeling of community and connection, I recommend that Starbuck’s leverage a key asset- their WiFi network and their entertainment platform.
